Eid Ul Fitr Definition:
The Literally meaning of Eid Ul Fitr is “ The Muslim Festival Marking The End Of The Fast Of Ramadan”. Eid Ul Fitr is a very Unique festival of Muslims. Eid Ul Fitr is the only festival that is not related to any worldly affairs nor it is affected by any historical event or cycle of agriculture or seasons. Eid Ul Fitr is a very spiritual Festival. It is a festival in which Muslims offers their thanks to Allah by giving them the strength to fast during the month of Ramadan and ability to obey his commands.
The day of Eid Ul Fitr brings happiness and rejoicing to the Muslim world. The happiness came from the inner self of the Muslims by completing all the Fast of Ramadan and fulfilling the will of Allah. The leaders of the Muslims form early days will get sad on the End of Ramadan because they think that they are deprived of the spiritual blessings which were associated with the holy month of Ramadan.
Eid Ul Fitr 2018 will be celebrated on June 16. Well the day of Eid Ul Fitr is decided on the sighting of the new moon of Shawwal. So this is not the actual date of Eid Ul Fitr its an alternate date. Eid Ul Fitr is originated by Prophet Mohammad (SAW). The following are some of the Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (SAW) on the day of Eid Ul Fitr.
- Rising up early on the day of Eid Ul Fitr.
- Taking bath.
- Eating Dates before going to Offer Eid Prayer.
- Wearing the Finest clothes he have For Eid Ul Fitr.
- Going early to the place where Eid Prayers are to be performed.
- Going to the place where Eid Prayers are to be performed on One Route and returning to home on another Route.
